Loraine C. Veach, 75, a resident of the Hillsboro community, died Wednesday, June 27, 2023, at Hillsboro Medical Center.
LORAINE CAROLYN VEACH was born December 5, 1947, in Eugene, Oregon, the daughter of the late Charles “Glenn” Veach and Bonnie Loraine Veach. She was raised and received her education in the communities of Eugene and Lebanon, having been a graduate of Lebanon High School Class of 1965.
She worked as culinary chef in a retirement community for several years, until she retired.
Among her special interests, she loved gardening, feeding the squirrels and birds, and caring for her cat, “Sushi”.
Loraine was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Bonnie Veach; her brother, Dennis Veach and her daughter, Tina Payne.
Survivors include her three daughters and a son-in-law, Tracey Carter, of Hillsboro, Oregon; Holly Payne, of Cornelius, Oregon and Robin and Billy Jack Roostandy, of King City, Oregon; her two brothers and sister-in-law, Norman and Linda Veach, of Sweet Home, Oregon and David Veach, of Albany, Oregon and her sister, Sheryl Wood, of Madras, Oregon.
Also surviving are her twelve grandchildren, Mike Payne; Giovanni Solis; Cassandra Solis; Adriana Solis; Shakira Villa; Malik Lewis; Shaheim Lewis; Jahi Lewis; Jordyn Roostandy; Isaiah Mohr; Noah Mohr and Kawika Roostandy; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
